St. Maximilian Kolbe
St. Maximilian Kolbe's faith journey began with a childhood vision of Mary and culminated with his own choice to die in the place of another man at Auschwitz. Named the "Patron Saint of this Difficult Century" by St. John Paul II, St. Maximilian endured a lifetime of great sacrifices so that he may tirelessly witness to God's love.
